Volunteers can answer general questions about civil court process and court procedures, provide information and instructions for approved court forms and identify resources to help you complete the forms, review approved court forms for completeness and provide instructions for filing, identify resources to help you find a lawyer or legal services for low-income persons.

Those in need of immigration legal assistance can contact NILAH in order to be connected to the non-profit immigration legal service provider that can best meet their needs, in the shortest amount of time. NILAH paralegals take the calls, completed the confidential intake screening forms, and refer people to the right organization in their area. The NILAH paralegals even have the ability to speak to callers in their native languages.
